The 10.1.0 release is a minor release of the Total Recall VR LinX technology which powers the new passive and active audio logging and call recording products.
The 10.1.0 release adds support for the LinX Essence GUI product. In addition, it introduces the ‘sticky play’ feature which allows automatic play of next recording on the Search Screen. Finally, it comprises of a number of fixes for defects that were considered critical by existing customers.
In summary, release 10.1.0 delivers the following:
- New product: support for LinX Essence GUI.
- New feature: sticky play. Users can now automatically play, in sequence (one after another), recordings on the search screen. To activate the sticky play feature, simply press the # key while playing a recording.
- New feature: # key clears values of configuration fields. Users can now use the # key to clear the values of the following fields:
Search dialog: extension, telephone and channel number.
Fields used to enter IP addresses.
Channel Settings dialog: extension.
Extension Settings dialog: extension. - A dirty shutdown was causing recording to NOT start automatically when the system was powered up in some cases. This has been rectified now and recording automatically starts after complete re-build of the database and after all recordings have been checked for corrupt headers and audio blocks.
- Network interfaces can now join VLANs. This function was broken in 9.10.0.
- Support was added for recording VoIP calls on VoIP networks which comprise of end-points that use different methods of placing calls on hold. Same end-point can now set the RTP IP address to 0.0.0.0 or change media streams to ‘sndonly’ mode to place active calls on hold.
- Supervisor Client can now work in “admin” mode on Win 7.
- Supervisor Client now displays the channel extension (description) on Win 7.
- The current version of the time zone data files is 2013b.
