It is possible to associate one or multiple Park Air S4 IP Controllers with a single or multiple Total Recall VR recorders in an ED-137 network for the purpose of recording radio communication.
To use RTSP over TCP and interleaved media (RTP) (the default in ED-137B) configure the Park Air S4 IP Controller and the recorder as follows:-
RTSP Media Server configuration on the recorder:
- Tick Enable.
- Select an RTSP IP Address, for example 192.168.2.100.
- Set RTSP Port to 554.
- Select an RTP IP address, for example 192.168.2.100.
- Leave the RTP Base Port to the default 13090 or select a more suitable port.
On the Park Air S4 IP Controller first create a recorder and then configure it as follows:
- IPv4 Address: set to the IP address that is assigned to the RTSP Media Server on the recorder, for example 192.168.2.100
- RTSP Port: set to the RTSP port that is assigned to the RTSP Media Server on the recorder, for example 554.
- Select TCP for RTSP Protocol.
- Select TCP for Media Protocol. You MUST do this before the next step.
- Tick Interleaved Media.
To use RTSP over TCP and media (RTP) over independent UDP configure the Park Air S4 IP Controller and the recorder as follows:-
