We are delighted to announce the latest Total Recall VR software releases, 10.7.0 (LinX) and 9.16.0 (Max)!

* Total Recall VR 10.7.0 now includes a SIP Media Server, which is capable of recording SIP sessions in active mode. Unlike the existing passive mode of recording SIP session, the SIP Media Server does not require a SPAN port or another form of an Ethernet link tap to capture audio during SIP sessions. Instead, other equipment can establish a SIP session with the recorder for the purpose of recording audio. This greatly simplifies the deployment of Total Recall VR systems for the purpose of recording SIP sessions.
* We have enhanced the VoIP recording performance of the system by adding the ability to individually disable/enable each of the VoIP recording mechanisms. For example, users can fully disable all passive VoIP recording and enable specific active VoIP recording methods.
* RAID disk configuration is becoming an increasingly popular option. We have simplified the disk management for such systems, so now it is possible to view disk health parameters for each of the disks in the system. In addition, it is possible to quickly detach drives from the RAID, replace them with new drives and re-attach them to the RAID, all while the system is fully operational and recording.
* Remote Manager Interface now supports external archiver applications, which can fetch recordings from the system on regular basis and in near real-time if required for the purpose of archiving or post-processing.
* Various minor bug fixes.
* Time zone data updated to 2014g.
