Introducing Support for Legacy (4.x) Disc Archives and Recording Files
We are pleased to announce the new 3.3.0 release of the PC client applications has full support for legacy disc archives and legacy recording files which were created on Generation 2 Total Recall VR systems (i.e. those that run the 4.x release of the Total Recall VR application).
Customers that keep, and continue to create, legacy disc archives of recordings on generation 2 (4.x) Total Recall VR systems can now use the latest generation PC client applications to browse and listen to the recordings that are stored in the archives. In particular:
- Total Recall VR Browser – search legacy disc archives; play generation 2 recording files; export generation 2 recording files to various audio file formats; create events that contain recordings from legacy disc archives.
- Total Recall VR Player – play generation 2 recording files; export generation 2 recording files to various audio file formats.
- Total Recall VR Event Player - create events that contain generation 2 recording files.
- Total Recall VR Archive Doctor – check the integrity of the database for legacy disc archives; convert legacy disc archives to latest generation disc, USB, network and folder archives.
Users with existing activation keys can upgrade to the latest version PC client applications by downloading and installing the installation packages available on our web site.
