Total Recall VR 10.9.0 / 9.18.0 Now Available

We are very pleased to announce the release of our latest Total Recall VR software versions, 10.9.0 (LinX) and 9.18.0 (Max)!

10.9.0 (LinX: Neos, Altus, Omnia, Essence, Evolution)

- Fully tested and certified support for recording from Hytera DMR networks, for repeaters running software version 7 or better.

- Enhanced Remote Manager interface and API, which now supports streaming multiple recordings in progress (check out our new Monitoring PC app as well!)

- Support for archiving to DVD-R and DVD+R discs.

- Technology updates to the database & Java platform, as well as support for widescreen LCD format on Linx Omnia and LinX Altus.

- Various (minor) bug fixes.

9.18.0 (Classic Rack)

- Improvments to the Remote Manager RMI interface. A generic streaming protocol is now used for real time monitoring of recordings in progress and playing of completed recordings. Unlike prior versions of the streaming protocol which were based on Java objects, the new streaming protocol is based on simple byte packet message structures. As a result clients can either use the RMI API for media streaming or implement own streaming client based on simple UDP sockets.

- It is now possible to tag and lock multiple recordings in progress and to annotate multiple recordings in progress over RMI.

- Support for archiving to DVD+R and DVD-R disc types.

- Various (minor) bug fixes.

Versions 10.9.0 and 9.18.0 will be included on all new Total Recall VR systems, and upgrade files are available from the downloads section of our website.
